Pedal to the metal !…no wait,it’s Need for Speed. After the epic fail of ProStreet,Undercover should be something good, better.Need for Speed, like you don’t know,is a long running series of racing games from EA,since the mid 90’s.The series became a big hit back in the days of Pursuit, and started eating all other opposing games of the same genre thus becoming one of the most popular today.

The DS has been getting NFS games for a few years back, with every future tittle getting a bit improved.
Before we start, the nice addition to this game is the Wi-Fi capabilities. You can add rivals,friends,multi-cart,single-cart or WFC to race your opponents/friends.
The game didn’t really leave a good expression. The graphics are way beneath DS’s graphical capabilities,it’s just not that good. The game has it’s own additions like car editing etc. but isn’t satisfying enough for a normal standard.
The newest TB game is finally upon us! Now, the best would be to play it on a next-gen console or PC,since the DS version isn’t all high and mighty.
You start off the game at the Croft Manner, with it being in flames. You must get though them in order to find out who is responsible for such a deed.Controls are simple, fast learning, you choose your weapon on the touch-screen,jump by pressing B,shoot by R.Rather simple, right?
Wonder why she's so popular?
Cutscenes are truly amazing,in real 3D.Although taken form the next-gen consoles, they’re still amaing to see on the DS.Back on the Story. You see an undentified man shooting at Lara while running. In the movie way, you get a ”One Week Before” message. You see Lara in a underwater suit, the only ones she has,on a yacht talking to the same men a few seconds ago. Apparently, she found out that her mother is alive, after all,but in a underwater city, ruin or whatever.Reasonably, you must find her.As in any Tomb Raider fashion, levels are filled with mythical beings such as Giant Octopuses etc. The only change in Underworld is that you don’t fight them. You need to outsmart them, literally.
Each level is a 3D side-scroller which works fine at the DS,since third person would be too much to ask. This is as far as we got,for now.Unless something drastically changes, the chances that this article will get changed are slim.
When it’s all put together this isn’t a triple A tittle for the DS.Not even close.Besides nice cutscenes with half naked Lara, this game doesn’t have too much to offer. If you’re a fan you will certanly like it,if you didn’t get bored with Legend. Tehnically it’s not even half bad,it’s just a new game on a revamped engine, with a few things improved.
Everybody heard about Call od Duty.Even the 6th one has been announced. But,today on test we have the 5th, called World at War.After the Modern Warfare’s timeline in present time, World at War goes back in the 20th century. As any other FPS game you start of with a basic tutorial level, learning how to crouch, shoot, aim, fire and throw bombs. The war against the Americans and Japan is raging and you are a soldier in the military, going on various missions to win the war.The game is completely the same as the 4th installment,or completely same as Metroid Prime Hunters,so to speak. You move your gun via the touch screen, shoot by pressing L.Besides great action, there are also some mini-games like bomb defusing, sending messages etc.
Action filled game,no doubt
After the first few levels, you will find yourself on a boat, with a mission to strike down Japanese airplanes. The one very interesting option that is new to CoD is the WFC.You can play with people around the world, exchanging friend codes to get friends,or playing against a DS near yours.
WFC is great, battles are quick, stunning and filled with fun.If your a veteran at FPS’es on the DS,you will certanly have fun playing this one too.If you’re not,you might have some problems passing the levels, even on Easy.Overall this is a good game, similiar to it’s predecessors.Action filled, no doubt.
Asta la vista,baby!

Finally! After months of agonizing wait,Konami finally revealed the next sequel to the popular Yu-Gi-Oh! series, curently on Nintendo DS.This game will be based on the new enstalment of Yu-Gi-Oh!,entitled 5D’s.
From the 3 available screenshots, that tell a lot of things, this will not be the same as 2008,or any older version, thank god.It will feature a unique Story Mode.Besides the expected, instead of just looking at a map for opponents you will truly guide Yusei using your stylus across the map, like AC:WW or JB:QOS.
Remember that ”prehistoric” RTS for the PC that became extremly popular? It’s coming on the DS,in just 2 days, and a detailed, really detailed review will be here soon. The basic theme of the game is to choose which God,from which culture you wish to be.Among Greek Gods such as Zeus,Hades…there are also Egyptian ones like Ra,Osiris and Set there are also Norwegian gods, Loki,Thor and the mighty Odin.
On which side you You on?
You start of with almost nothing, and is up to you to build your city, army and destory the enemy God.It’s simply really. You build Temples,Storage Houses, gain new powers like Tornadoes,Fire Balls etc. to gain you in the aid of destruction.Besides the interesting Battle Mode there is also a Campaign mode where you live the life of a hero (Herkules,Ahil,Odyssey…) and follow the story. For now not much is known, except these basic facts. As for the Wi-Fi we can only hope for the best.
Strange i didn’t write more about the game…meh. You know that feeling when you get a game, you’re hyped about it,you love the game and then you get stuck at a part and stop playing it? Yeah…still great game though.
Yea,i know. The first thought that comes to mind after you see the tittle…lame.Well,it’s not as alem as you think. Developed by A2M,and Published by Activision, another respawn of the Transformers, now in the animated version came ou exclusively for the DS.After the semi-good Transformers :Autobots/Decepticons that released at the same time as the movie did, this is a true Transformers game for little fans everywhere.
A2M developed an 3D side-scrolling engine, that works excellent in this game. You guide 3 Autobots through-out the game.Optimus Prime,Bumblebee and Bulkhead. The basic mission in each level is to transfer all three autobots from point A to point B,alive. You have 3 lives in total. The thing that makes it even more interesting is that the whole game, even the cut-scenes,which are just the right size, are totally guided with voices from the show, meaning you will hear your characters speak every few seconds. The story goes as that the factory of Sari’s father is being under attack by drones and it’s up to you to stop them.Later on Megatron makes a grand appearence,as in scenes, and as a boss.
Now,what would make a side-scrolling game more perfect? Puzzles! You can’t pass the level if you don’t use the full potential of your characters. For an example: Bumblebee can jump, jump from walls to walls, and reach places other autobots can’t.Same goes for the other too.Sometimes the puzzles will get a bit tricky, where you will need to squezze your brain to solve it.
The one point fans will might have a con about this game is the small amount of transforming.Levels are devided by only 2 categories.
Side-Scrolling – Explained above
Racing
Racing is simple. You guide Prowl,Bumblebee,Optimus or Bulkhead in their vehicle form to reach a destination, destroy escaping drones,or chase after notorious villains from the show such as Lockdown.
Optimus Prime in action!
The whole game runs smoothly, and it’s fun to play, unless you can get something better. The 3D scroller is amazing to watch and the whole idea of the game is pretty nicely presented.
Overall, this game is fun to play, and is a perfect game for youger fans.
Passed a lot of time since i updated…probably becuase my internet broke down…Well i ‘m back with new reviews.
You’ve probably never heard of Club Pinguin, have you? It’s a Flash game on Mini Clip, where you create your account, and chat,do activities with other pinguins around the world. The exact same game is coming out for the DS, with Wi-Fi.
More when it comes out.
Update: It came out! You can play Wi-Fi with a single cartridge,WFC or multi card play.
Wow…talk about a pleasent suprise.Trackmania United/Nations is a free,mostly,game for PC.It’s amazing.It gives you a feeling of speed,especially on a widescreen monitor.You are racing on long,and fun tracks,while the framerate is fantastic.
Now,all of that is available on the DS! Suprisingly, the developers managed to break the graphical limitations on the DS,making one of the best driving game on it,so far.
TrackMania is based on the fun and the spectacular aspect of racing. With TrackMania DS, you drive at mind-blowing speeds on incredible tracks made of jumps, loops, turbo boost pads and many other crazy design elements. Just like the renowned PC version, TrackMania DS offers a track editor that lets you create your own unique and exciting tracks from hundreds of different design blocks, giving the game near-infinite replay value.
It released! I will be updating the DS Download section with some cool new games today.
Ahywho,i ‘m playing it right now. It’s amazing. You have that sense of speed….Along with 3 modes to race on.
Dirt
Stadium
Rally
Each a bit different then the other.Besides that you can play Wi-Fi with only one cartridge, data share, multiple cartridges or the Hot Seat, where up to 8 players play on one DS. You can create your own tracks with the Track editor,or you can buy new ones at the Shop for Coppers, little coins you get once you win a race, the higher the position (gold, silver or bronze) the more amount of coppers you get. The Solo mode has a few categories:
Practice
Easy
Medium
Hard
Expert
Each one is harder then it’s predecessor.
Now to finish this, Trackmania DS is one heck of a racing game that will keep you entertained for months.
Next up for review, and this time for both DS and PC version is the newest James Bond game, followed by the movie, that releases somewhat in a week. First up will be the DS version, and the PC to follow.
All the previous JB games that were ment on Pierce Brosnan’s time, sucked.Since a lot of time passed, and graphics evolved, and so on,maybe there will be something good.
Soon updating this post!
Well, that was quick. As promised, the DS version is first.Ok,so the first thing that suprised me,is the position of the screens.Meaning, you hold the DS like a book, and the left screen is a map, while the right, the touch screen is for combat and such. You get instructions by M on the tutorial level.Bond can be controled by touching the screen at the direction where you want him to go,similar to Animal Crossing: Wild World.Attacks are devided in a few categories,Melee Combat, and Shooting. It will wake you some time to get used to it,but as soon as you get the whole thing you will like it.Combat is pretty fun, moving the stylus across the touch screen makes Bond attack his opponent in the direction you moved it,and you can also make combinations, which can take out even the strongest of adversaries. The tutorial level is basically a place for you to practice your skills on other agents, to ‘’show them they don’t deserve their paychecks” as M said. When you run out of amunition you can fight with melee.
Controls, well they are basically not used,at all.You can press any button to aim,or to start hand-to-hand combat.Everything else is done by the touch screen.Basically, this game is fun.The next level is in Vienna. If you watched Casino Royale, basically this movie continues where the last one stopped.Soon enough after an interesting scene, you find yourself on the rooftop on a building in Vienna. The city is pretty nicely built, shaded and even big enough to make it look realistic.
As soon as i unlock,i ‘ll post more,so have patience for a few days, also i ‘ll post some screenshots,or you can find them yourself.
Hahaha awright! This game rocks! Ok,fanboyism aside. Well,as any other review beginning, the game starts off with the group driving, and finding an alien signal,so ultimatelly they will follow it,as any ‘’superheroes” would do.The cinematics are in full 3D,which is interesting to watch, and are followed it with subtittles, and voices.
You find you’reself at an amusement park. You have 2 aliens available at the beginning, Big Chill and Swampfire. You can transform into them by pressing R,cycle when choosing which one you want to transform into by pressing Left,or Right, and defending by pressing L.
Square and Triangle are attacks, X is jumping, while O is a Special Attack.
The whole map is in 3D,same as Protector of Earth, along with matching voices for aliens and characters.
As first enemies you will have basic Forever Knights, which you can defeat with a simple 4-5 attack combo. It’s nice to play as new characters and aliens.
The game has 5 aliens in total:
Big Chill
SwampFire
Humungousaur
Spidermonkey
Jet Ray
While the DS version get’s 3 extra aliens:
Chromastone
Echo Echo
Goop
The animations are quick and fluid. Not counting the aliens, you also get the ”priviledge” to play as Gwen and Kevin (still getting to that part). After the first level is finished, you meet up with an old Plumber, from Four-arms planet, only fatter.Soon after a funny cinematic, and a little talk about the HighBreed, you team up with him. After the clip is over, you get a new alien form! Spidermonkey just got available!
The next level is in the Forest, the secret hiding place for the Forever Knights!
Spidermonkey isn;t your strongest form, but sure is fun to play. His Special Attack is…well…urm..i ‘m still trying to figure it out,but it looks like he’s either shooting something out of his butt,or his tail, not quite sure.Other then that, nothing is available. After you beat a certain amount of enemies he (or any other alien form you have) can get a special attack update.Like pressing Square and then Triangle,he dissapeares into the ground, and then jumping out of it dealing damage to enemies nearby, followed by some fire balls. The game is devided into several parts, like 6-7 episodes.Sounds like a small amount, but the levels are actually long and sometimes exausting,so it is bigger then i seems.
Jet Ray vs. DNAlien
Gwen, well she isn’t the best fighter,or anything. Her attacks are weak, her Special Attack doesn’t deal any ”extra” damage, she just shoots two energy circles, but at the end her levels aren’t that huge.
Now on to the aliens.Every alien is different shape, size, and has different abilities,of course. For example,Spidermonkey can web-swing into curtain places, walk on walls, while Jet Ray can fly over great distances. Also, every alien has the same amount of extra attacks, which are mostly doable by the corresponding commands:
Square,Triangle,Circle
Square,Triangle
Triangle,Square
Triangle,Square,Circle
Circle,Square,Triangle
I really can’t say anything bad about this game. It’s the same as it’s predecessor, only enhanced,The camera isn’t a problem,Playing as Humungousaur is fun,his size is just about right. If you get this game, you will have fun, even if you’re not a fan of the show.If you want to see
I ‘m not 100% sure, but the story is either follows the series,or is a bunch of episodes, since the last episode sounds familiar.
Basically, there isn’t much else to say.You will just have to find it out for yourself. As more as i play the game the more i will know (and update),and since the weekend start tomorrow,i will have a lot of time to play.
You can download the game by going to our ”New Releases” on the top menu.
Above is a video, showing the first level, you can search for more at YouTube.
That would be it.To see how to game ends you will either have to buy the game,or wait ’till it comes on YouTube.Next on the plan is the DS version, which is slightly different then the PSP,PS2 and Wii ones.
