Next up for review, and this time for both DS and PC version is the newest James Bond game, followed by the movie, that releases somewhat in a week. First up will be the DS version, and the PC to follow.
All the previous JB games that were ment on Pierce Brosnan’s time, sucked.Since a lot of time passed, and graphics evolved, and so on,maybe there will be something good.
Soon updating this post!
Well, that was quick. As promised, the DS version is first.Ok,so the first thing that suprised me,is the position of the screens.Meaning, you hold the DS like a book, and the left screen is a map, while the right, the touch screen is for combat and such. You get instructions by M on the tutorial level.Bond can be controled by touching the screen at the direction where you want him to go,similar to Animal Crossing: Wild World.Attacks are devided in a few categories,Melee Combat, and Shooting. It will wake you some time to get used to it,but as soon as you get the whole thing you will like it.Combat is pretty fun, moving the stylus across the touch screen makes Bond attack his opponent in the direction you moved it,and you can also make combinations, which can take out even the strongest of adversaries. The tutorial level is basically a place for you to practice your skills on other agents, to ‘’show them they don’t deserve their paychecks” as M said. When you run out of amunition you can fight with melee.
Controls, well they are basically not used,at all.You can press any button to aim,or to start hand-to-hand combat.Everything else is done by the touch screen.Basically, this game is fun.The next level is in Vienna. If you watched Casino Royale, basically this movie continues where the last one stopped.Soon enough after an interesting scene, you find yourself on the rooftop on a building in Vienna. The city is pretty nicely built, shaded and even big enough to make it look realistic.
As soon as i unlock,i ‘ll post more,so have patience for a few days, also i ‘ll post some screenshots,or you can find them yourself.
