Spider-Man: Web of Shadows!

26 10 2008

Wow,two reviews in a day,not too shabby.

Anywho,a new (another one) Spider-Man video game released, very recently. It’s tittled Web of Shadows.

On the beginning of the game, you find yourself fighting symbiote monsters, and are in need to investigate,so

Nothing special,at least not on the DS.

off to Eddie Brock Jr. for some information. The other is for me to know, and you to find out.

Web of Shadows DS

If you want a Spidey game, better go for the Friend or Foe,which released some time ago…

A side scroller,with good 3D graphics.

Basically,if you’ve played Friend or Foe,Ultimate Spider-Man or any other Spidey tittle on the DS,it’s basically the same.A side scroller,with good 3D graphics.Nothing new really,well,not for the DS that is.Don’t get me wrong,it’s a very nice game,with an interesting story,it’s just,been there,done that.If you are interested in a Spidey game,an semi-original one,go for Spider-Man: Friend or Foe,where you basically guide spidey along with a villain,any of a bunch (Venom,Dock Ock,Rhino,Scorpion…).

That’s it,for now.If you’re itching for some good action get the ‘’stable” console versions, like PS2,or next-gen.They are beautiful.

What’s Cooking?
Jamie Oliver is the first video game to feature Jamie and his delicious recipes. It’s available worldwide for Nintendo DS and will be available in English, French, German, Dutch, Italian and Spanish on the 24th of October.

I really want to get as many people as I can cooking simple, tasty food, so I’m really excited about bringing a book’s worth of my recipes to a game for the first time. You can cook my recipes for real at home or in the game’s 3D kitchens, but what’s brilliant is that you can come up with your own recipes then share them with your mates and family over Wi-Fi. Lovely.

Interactive cookbook
What’s Cooking? Jamie Oliver is a fun and interactive cooking game featuring a whole book’s worth of Jamie’s fantastic recipes, each accompanied by David Loftus’ beautiful photography. Follow the recipes in one of the virtual kitchens, or with real ingredients in your own home. A voice-recognition feature means your hands are free to concentrate on the cooking.

Mobile shopping list
Make shopping hassle-free with the brilliant shopping list function. Simply choose the recipes you want to make and the ingredients will automatically be added to your shopping list. Extra bits and pieces can easily be added by using the keypad or text recognition.

Cooking games
Cook against the clock in a series of exciting challenges that will have you chopping, stirring and baking your way to the top.

Creative cooking
Get creative with hundreds of ingredients and utensils, then store up to 100 of your own recipes to be recreated in the kitchen or shared with friends over Wi-Fi.

lol I never though i cooking game could be such fun! As you can see stated above, you have modes where you can either read recipes already integrated,or create them in the game,in an 3D kitchen. It’s like a book, but only in a more fun way,a video game. The game is filled with voices, ratings, recipes, you can even create your own shopping list. Some recipes will be a bit hard to realize, since the instructions are sometimes a bit confusing.
In order to get new recipes in the in-game kitchen, first you need to ”beat” or better to say ”cook” the first recipes you are given.Personally,i’ve never tried Cooking Mama, and probably never will, but this is totally satisfying in the terms of fun.
